193, just after the -- sorry, northbound on the baltimore washington parkway after the 193 exit to greenbelt. this happened at about 6:30 a.m. both vehicles are in the northbound area of traffic. this area will be closed. the parkway will be closed through here for at least a couple hours while accident reconstruction goes on. we are told one person has died in this crash and another person has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries. we don't have information about the people involved in this or the vehicles for that matter. we know the person taken to the hospital is an adult male. that's all we have at this point. now the parkway through here is separated northbound and southbound traffic is separated by a wall that goes beyond that 193 exit. police are diverting traffic, and it's being put on south of here. southbound traffic is accessing here from 193. if you go 193 towards the district, and you cross over the beltway, there's a ramp that gives you access to southbound, and that's where all the southbound traffic is getting through at this point. we don't know how long the area

baltimore, high heat for today. not in the excessive heat warning, but those heat-related illnesses that develop much faster, that come on very quickly. if you are going to be outside today, the optimum amount to drink is four cups of water each hour. i know it sounds like a lot but you need to hydrate because you'll just be sweating it out. right around the noon hour, you'll be over around 92 degrees. but from 2:00 until about 5 dlk:00 we're talking about upper 90s. it will be really humid. then a chance for storms around 5:00 today and lasting up until about 11:00 p.m. today. those storms will be coming in, not one big line plowing through as was the case last night, but what we'll see is several little clusters of storms coming through our area. i'll show you where those impulses are in a bit. 97 around areas of frederick. and around 99 at olney. those storms are gathering with a couple of impulses just west of our area. ohio and just west of chicago again, got one impulse here that will be making its way east an
